This book focuses on the mechanics of the different types of gaits of gaited horse breeds and how to work with the different gaits. There are wonderful drawings and lesson plans to help you get the most out of your gaited horse. All of Lee’s methods are gimmick-free and easy to understand and put to good use.
The Fabulous Floating Horses by Barbara Weatherwax This is an excellent resource to learn about 30 different breeds of gaited horses. Barbara has a lot of experience and spent years studying gaited horses in order to produce this fabulous resource.
Walking With Friends by Maggie Moore This book is a wonderful coffee-table book that showcases the natural Tennessee Walking Horse throughout the United States. Maggie is a gifted photographer who has a very natural ability to capture the spirit and spectacular gaits of the TWH.
