Although we have owned many horses, these horses are ones that were and still are closest to our hearts. We miss them and send them and their owners nothing but happiness and a bright future. |

Manhattan - “Manny” Tennessee Walking Horse (TWHBEA and NWHA registered) Manny was Andrea’s all-around show and trail horse for two years. He is unflappable and has a wonderful personality, and he and Andrea were very close. However, Andrea’s goals were always to have a show and trail horse, and Manny’s gait just isn’t right for the show ring. Manny now resides at Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch as one of their guest horses, and we know he gets a lot of attention and love from them. His puppy dog personality is very popular with their guests. He’s a perfect ambassador for the breed. I love you Manny—thanks for being my boy and showing me what a perfect horse can be. |

Apache Whitecloud Katsina - “Katsina” Spotted Saddle Horse (SSHBEA registered) Katsina is Red Hawk’s first and only offspring. He was bred to Andrea’s mare at the time, Apache (below), and the plan was to always keep Katsina and she would be Scott’s horse. However, finances dictated that we had to get down to two horses. As Red Hawk is just too important to us and we’ve been through so much together, Scott decided to sell Katsina. She is now with some close friends who live in North Phoenix. She is loved for her disposition, personality and gait, and we know she is in excellent hands. She is even showing in local shows in TWH 2 Gait Western and English classes! Even though we miss her dearly, we never worry about her. |

Sun Chief’s Apache - “Apache” Spotted Saddle Horse (SSHBEA registered) Apache, or “Patches,” was Andrea’s very first horse. Andrea had always dreamed of owning a black and white mare with blue eyes ever since she was a little girl, inspired by the book Summer Pony by Jean Slaughter Doty. Andrea learned the ins and outs of training with Apache, and Andrea’s learning combined with Apache’s patience for Andrea made a great team that worked well together. Sadly, they lost their bond after Manny (above) came into their lives. Apache is now with Scott’s old friend in Apache Junction. She is well looked after at the boarding stable she lives at and is a wonderful trail horse. Thank you for letting me live my dream, Apache. You will always be a part of me. |

Bolder’s Irish Cream - “Chardonnay” Tennessee Walking Horse (TWHBEA registered) Chardonnay is one of those rare horses that comes along only a few times in a horseperson’s lifetime. She is beginner safe with a mothering attitude that takes care of her rider. She always listened well on the trails and was an easy-going, beautiful animal who was always there to make sure everything was in order and to give you peace. Char is with some friends in Chino Valley now, and she has proven to be a wonderful addition to their herd and their lives.
NEWS FLASH! Char’s owners contacted me and let me know she’s for sale. I knew she’d be a perfect horse for Grace Falls Farm as a horse the kids could ride. She now resides there and is known as “Sarah.” Click here for her webpage! |

Emily’s Golden Eagle - “Kwaahu” Tennessee Walking Horse (TWHBEA and NWHA registered) Kwaahu was probably the funniest horse we’ve ever owned. His personality was very curious and friendly, and also a bit mischievous—he would steal the hat off your head if you weren’t looking! He was a gift from some old friends, and our goal was to make him our third horse for guests to ride and if either of our main horses went lame. We unfortunately discovered that we didn’t have the time to put into him that he needed at his young age. He was sold to a man in Tucson who has made him his best friend. However, the man passed away, so he is now in a new home with an owner who knew him before the man passed away and was thrilled to get him. She plans to keep him forever. We’re glad that Kwaahu is well loved and in a safe, happy home. |

Amethyst Moondancer - “Coria” Tennessee Walking Horse (TWHBEA registered) Andrea has always liked the champagne color that is present in the TWH breed. It’s a dilute gene that is similar to the cream gene, diluting the base color of the horse to a new, shiny metallic color. She was lucky to get Coria from Grace Falls Farm, as Coria has a lovely trail pleasure gait and was a wonderful all-around show and trail horse. However, Andrea decided that a gelding is a better choice for her. Coria is now in California and will serve as an all-around horse and will add more in her repertoire: she'll be a flag horse, a search and rescue mount, and a flashy trail horse. We know she’s in a great home where she’s being used to her full potential! |

Henery’s Blue Supreme - “Indigo” Tennessee Walking Horse (TWHBEA and NWHATR registered) Andrea bought Indigo after finding him at a local draft horse farm. The owner had brought him from Amish country to resell, and Andrea was amazed at her luck. Indy has a perfect flat walk with a real deep head nod and amazing overstride. She began showing and trail riding her new companion when he developed ulcers. Turns out he doesn’t like the stress of the show ring. So he was sold to Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch where we know he will get to do what he enjoys, which is be a tourist on the trails. I’m not sure what to say about Indigo. My boy was consistently in the winners circle and always placed in the top three. It breaks my heart for him to leave. Thank you, Indigo, for teaching me patience and that I can reach my goals and am truly capable of great things with the sound Tennessee Walking Horses. |
