Lindy is a coming 5 year old registered Rocky Mountain Horse mare. Black with a start, 14.2 hands, great bone, and really naturally gaited. The below links are videos of Lindy on YouTube. This is her second time under saddle! She is the mellowest horse of any breed that her owner has ever had. She says if they were all this easy to start, she might not be so behind with her green horses. Lindy’s mind is solid as a rock, this is her SECOND time under saddle and if you look at the trees, the wind was cold and howling. She is sweet, willing, calm, unshakeable, angel, well-bred, full mane and tail, Buddy Roe granddaughter. $3,500. Located in Southern California.

Winchester is a coming 3 year old Morgan stud colt, never been bred. He is about 15 hands and is very gentle and sweet. He does not act studdish but does need regular handling. Excellent confirmation and great knee action typical of the breed. He is not registered but can be. He has been started under saddle and had 10 rides on him by Lanny Leach, a horse trainer in Tucson, Arizona and featured in the following video link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=othPhz4xuAc Photos of Winchester are included right around the 1:05, 1:15, and 1:44 time of the video. Winchester has not been ridden in a few months and therefore will need some tune up work. Recommended only for an experienced rider who either wants to use him as a stallion or geld him and continue his gentle training. $1450 OBO. |

“Apollo” (or as Scott and I call him, “Little Apollo”) is the last offspring of a wonderful stallion that used to be at stud here in Arizona named Apollo’s Gold Hammer. Apollo was one of the calmest, most well-mannered and easy-going stallions we’ve ever known. So far, Little Apollo is turning out to be just like his dad. His dam is a old-time Walking Horse mare with a natural flat walk to die for. He is a half-brother to Sundrop’s Fahrenheit, a Grand Champion Trail Pleasure gelding with FOSH (they have the same dam). We actually worked with this guy when he was little on some halter training, and what a good horse with a really natural flat walkin’ gait. Little Apollo is 3 years old, red sabino with flaxen mane and tail. Currently about 14.3 hands, and may grow some more. Registered TWHBEA and can be registered SSHBEA as his sire was. Starting saddle training on March 30—price will go up with further training. $2500. Click here for Apollo’s pedigree and other information. |

“Bella” is a registered, possibly homozygous spotted TWHBEA mare. Her sire and dam were both spotted. SSHBEA papers are ready to be mailed in. Extremely friendly and with a calm temperament, she had 60 days of training by a John Lyons certified trainer as a yearling. Her training has been kept up, and she has a lot of respect for space and is very easy to handle. Leads, loads, grooms, bathes, stands for the farrier and the vet, very social and intelligent. We believe she can be started under saddle and will be extremely willing to please. She showcases a natural flat walk in the pasture. Bloodlines include Generator’s Color Guard and Rainbow Revelator. Bella is currently 15.2 hands and could top 16 to 16.1 when fully grown. This filly will make someone an excellent riding, driving, breeding, and show horse, whatever you want her to be. $2500, may also trade for a rideable, gaited gelding or mare, preferably a TWH. Click here for pedigree and further information. |

Joy is a 15.2 hand, 18 yo KMSHA registered mare who was a loyal trail partner until an injured tendon put her in the breeding barn. She has produced two gorgeous foals, the first a deep liver chestnut with flaxen m/t colt and the second a red chocolate filly. She produces size, color, gait and great temperaments. She has been UC Davis color tested, with the results being e/e A/a N/N, chestnut with an agouti gene. She also carries the flaxen m/t gene as she has produced it. If bred to the right stallion she’ll produce buckskin or bay. Up to date on vacc, worming, teeth floating, farrier etc. I no longer have the room to breed. My lose is your gain. Completely breeding sound—needs nothing special. Leads, loads, lets you handle her, no problems. Video available of Joy being ridden for her certification. $1000—price of shipping can be taken off the asking price for the right home. Click here for Joy’s pedigree and other information. Located in Groveland, FL. |

Jesse is a 17 yo cremello KMSHA/MPHA registered mare standing at 15.2 hands. She has been trained using Clinton Anderson methods. Knows all ground work, does one rein stops, stands stock still for mounting with a mounting block, gaits on a loose rein with a snaffle bit. She has an excellent gait for her breed that really covers ground and is breeding sound. Been trail ridden extensively and is used to carrying heavy riders. Jesse is only being sold because she is not a timid beginner’s horse, but does well with a confident, quiet beginner rider. She is safe enough for children and adults alike. Very friendly and intelligent. Amazing once in a lifetime trail partner. A video will be available to serious buyers only. E-mail for more photos. Jesse's price is flexible to the right home. $4000—price of shipping can be taken off the asking price for the right home. Click here for Jesse’s pedigree and other information. Peso is the bay gelding. He's much better looking in person--he wouldn't stand still in the photo, so that's why he looks goofy. He came from the Angel Horse rescue a few years ago, where they take in unwanted horses and adopt them out as rescues. He is an Arab/QH cross, about 9-10 years old, no registration information. His owner describes him as a "Ferrari" to ride--he is willing but has a lot of go and is best for an intermediate rider. However, he is also gentle and sweet with a great personality--he's the horse who comes to the gate and sticks his nose out of the stall for love. I have seen this horse under saddle, and he carries himself well and would be a great endurance prospect. $1000, all reasonable offers considered, tack that fits him can also be bought for a few hundred more.
Blue is the palomino gelding. He is about 20-something and is in good health as far as hoof care, teeth, vaccinations, etc. He has arthritis that needs management. He is a former mounted shooting horse and only knows how to run in the arena. However, he's gentle and sweet and easy to handle on the ground. This guy really needs a retirement home with some pain management--he's been used hard and might be able to be ridden again, but it would be up to a vet to determine that. FREE to a good home only—no first time horse owners, please!
When calling the owner, please let them know we sent you so they will be sure to respond. Thank you! |
